teal is a writer, editor, and artist currently based in New Haven. she is a graduate of UCLA’s English program and has attended fiction workshops at Emerson College, UCLA, and Lambda Literary. she has been an editorial assistant at CRAFT Literary and is currently a member of the New Haven Writers Workshop.

her creative work explores the nuance of girlhood, the body, and a few other funnier topics. she is currently working on a new adult manuscript about roller derby.
